- The sooner you book, the smaller your monthly payments. The price you see today is a presale price, and the more months you have before the deadline, the more parts what's left gets split into.
- You always know where you stand. Your payment plan is set from the day you book: dates, amounts, everything. No "how much do I owe" halfway through.
- And if something changes, you already knew what to expect. No one plans to cancel, but if it happens to you, the chart below already told you beforehand what you'd get.

Approved2. From your account you pay online in a minute: with a credit or debit card, by SPEI bank transfer to a CLABE created just for you, or in cash at any OXXO store. A card payment is approved instantly; a transfer or OXXO payment, as soon as the money arrives. Either way, no proof needed. If you prefer, you can also deposit to MATIE's account, and the bank gives you a receipt.
3. Paying online, you skip this step. With a deposit, you upload your proof of payment to your account within 72 hours: it shows as "pending" while we validate it against the bank.
4. It gets approved, and your payment plan updates on its own. You see your progress, how much you've paid, and your next date, all on the same screen, without having to ask anyone.
And underneath, the safety net: if you forget, we remind you.
Three days before each monthly payment you get an email reminder, and another one on the day itself if you still haven't paid, with the button to pay it online. We don't let you forget.
If you pay by deposit, behind every proof of payment you upload there's someone from MATIE checking it, not a nameless automated system.

Frequently asked questions about your payments
Do I get my money back if I change my mind?
For Tulum, the deposit is not refundable in any case: it's what secures your spot. What does vary depending on when you cancel is the percentage of what you've paid AFTER the deposit (see the chart above). If we refund a card payment, it goes back to the same card; if you paid by transfer, OXXO or deposit, we send it to your bank account.
How are payments made?
Online, when you book in the price builder or from your MATIE account, three ways: with a credit or debit card, approved instantly; by SPEI bank transfer to a CLABE created just for you; or in cash at an OXXO store (up to MX$10,000 per payment). A transfer or OXXO payment is approved automatically as soon as the money arrives; if it's your deposit, your contract and welcome email arrive at that point, not instantly. You can also deposit to the account of OPERADORA TURÍSTICA MATIE SA DE CV and upload your proof of payment from your account within the following 72 hours. Never pay into a different account: no payment to any other account is valid.
What happens if I miss a payment date one month?
We let you know beforehand: you get a reminder 3 days before and another one on the day itself. If it still slips by, pay it as soon as you can from your account; the notice turns red right there so it doesn't go unnoticed. With two late payments, MATIE may cancel your contract, and if you don't pay the full amount by the deadline, a 10% charge is applied on the package price. If you know something's going to make it hard to pay, contact us before it happens.
Why is it better to book soon instead of waiting?
For two real reasons: the price you see now is a presale price (it goes up later), and the more months you have between your booking date and the deadline, the smaller your monthly payments turn out. Waiting costs you more on both sides.
What happens if I need to cancel completely?
Use the calculator above with the date you'd book on: it shows you exactly what percentage of what you've paid (not counting the deposit) you'd get back, month by month. Once you're a customer, you can see this same calculation updated anytime from your account.
