Before you decide

Nothing is left to chance

Staff, first aid, insurance and a contract: that's how we look after every MATIE trip, whichever one you build with us.

It's not luck, it's structure

Trusting us with your trip, or your child's, is serious. That's why this doesn't depend on anyone's goodwill: it's the same complete structure, on every trip we build.

Polaris isn't the brightest star in the sky: it's the one that doesn't move. For thousands of years, sailors and travelers from every culture have used it to know that, no matter how far they are, they can always find their way back. To find it, just locate the Big Dipper: its two edge stars point straight at Polaris, which is also the tip of the Little Dipper's handle. Nearby, the Pleiades almost always show up too, that small cluster that looks like a single smudge of light to the naked eye. That's how we look after every trip: a fixed point you can always count on.

Level 1 · on any MATIE trip

And if something gets stuck along the way (paperwork, something unexpected, something that gets lost), you don't handle it alone. We stay on it with you until it's resolved, whatever it is and wherever it is.

Your MATIE account is our office

We don't have physical offices or storefronts: we handle everything online. Your account is where the complete record of your contract, your payments and every message lives, and it doesn't depend on business hours: it's there whenever you need it.

Level 2 · when we design the trip When we put together the logistics ourselves, extra layers are added depending on the type of trip. Each one is covered separately.

01 · Health

Staff trained in first aid.

And we always know where the closest medical care is.

02 · Logistics

A support team to handle the logistics.

Radios and GPS, for greater safety and coordination.

03 · Meeting point

A fixed meeting point

And the staff's location shared at all times. No one gets separated from the group.

04 · Extra

And one more thing

Each trip and each destination gets its own extra details, whatever it takes to keep the group at ease.

Coming soon · Level 3

Group safety in Vallarta

Looking after a group of minors, far from home, in one of the country's most intense party destinations, takes another level. That's why on the Puerto Vallarta graduation trip we add extra layers we don't replicate on other trips: shift-based staff, paramedics, private security, rules for going out and coming back, and a 24-hour office for you.

We're finishing getting it published. In the meantime we'll explain it to you in full, nothing left out: ask us anything, or if you're parents of a class that's already going to Vallarta, we'll schedule the info session and go over everything calmly.

What other parents tell us

Messages from the parents' group, in the early morning when the buses got back.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the excellent organization and for giving the kids an experience that will surely leave a mark on each of them. This trip will forever mark the close of a very special chapter.

Rosa, mom · Class of 2025

I'm grateful for how you treated and looked after my kids. She told me she had an incredible time and that you were always attentive and taking care of them.

Esmeralda S., mom · Class of 2025

My daughter is so happy and full of lifelong memories. She won't stop telling me about her experiences.

Saylí T., mom · Class of 2025

You won't be left guessing what's happening over there

Before you leave, we sit down with you, and during the trip we keep you posted.

Info session, whenever you request it

In person or online, whichever works for you. We've done them online for groups from other states and they work just the same: we explain the whole package from a safety standpoint and answer whatever comes up, no limit on questions. If your group doesn't have a date yet, you can request it yourselves.

Parents' group during the trip

We open a group with the class's parents and keep sending updates there: that the bus left, that they arrived, how each day is going, and any notices that come up. You don't have to ask one by one.
